With all the positions, proper breathing patterns and proper timing while practicing yoga, there is this small yet terrible gesture that plays a very crucial role to attaining a sound well-being. Those who coined the term gave this gesture ‘Mudras’, where the hand is linked with its fingers. Each type of gesture is equivalent to an ‘answer’ for a particular physical and mental area.

1. Shunya Mudra
Land (or flat) your middle finger on your palms’ surface, then place your thumb on top of it. Apparently, Shunya Mudra will aid you to decrease unwanted feelings like numbness and earaches. Cool!
2. Gyan Mudra
Connect your index finger with the tip of the thumb. It will enable your body to develop enthusiasm, memory and creativity auras.
3. Vaayan Mudra
Bow down your index fingers to your palms, then put your thumb on top of it. Vaayan Mudra is a favorable gesture for those who need to attract calmness and serenity within oneself. If you feel that you’re being too hyperactive about working, partying or any worldly activity these past few days, then perform Vaayan Mudra immediately, and feel the positive vibes.
4. Prithvi Mudra
Link your ring finger’s tip towards thumb’s end. Using Prithvi Mudra in meditating, will help you to achieve wellness in bodily conditions such as muscle formation and relaxation.
5. Varun Mudra
Draw your pinky finger toward your thumb, making sure that ends of each finger are connected. Varun mudra has a very amazing function since it helps an individual avoid experiencing arthritis and dehydration. Awesome!
6. Aakash Mudra
Direct your thumb’s tip towards the end of your middle finger. Akash Mudra is believed to prevent or cure risks of stress, negative effects of toxic environments (nutritional influences, climate, chemicals, etc.).
7. Surya Mudra
Flat your ring fingers on your palm, then top it with your thumb. According to the spiritual principles of yoga, Surya Mudra helps an individual with his/her digestion experiences, vision and weight loss. Perfect!
